In-store Department Manager
We are looking for an experienced In-Store Department Manager (Category Sales) for one of our clients in high street fashion.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to S$4,000 per month + Incentives
Location: Multiple Locations
You will be responsible for Category Sales, Customer Service, Profitability and Inventory Management. You will be managing a team within a department according to the company values, standards, policies & procedures, and is responsible for all people management functions

Your role will include :
Sales Management
Responsible for achieving category sales target by following store sales plan and managing daily, weekly and monthly sales operation
Analyzing sales reports, indicating key issues, making a development plan
Ensure excellent customer service and provide excellent customer journey
Product Management
Responsible for new product and visual merchandising
Tracking product sell-through and making sales plan by analyzing product information and relevant data
Assist to perfect product management process
Effectively control and manage inventory
Routinely report sales to Store Managers
Operation Management
Monitor daily shift work and ensure smooth store operation
Ensure store operation under company standard process and procedures
Ensure that all store VMs follow through with the company's SOP
Monitor and manage VM routinely to provide customer high standard satisfaction at any time
People Management
Coach and train Sales Associates; ensuring that they are able to complete tasks independently
Assist in store management to build Sales Associate development plan
Daily store operations
What’s Required?
Diploma or above with at least 3 years retail experience, working in apparel business is preferred
Ability to provide leadership, motivate and develop staff through company values
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
People and customer service oriented
Proactive in driving sales by creating selling opportunities
Strong merchandising skills with the ability to drive the business through creativity and extensive fashion knowledge
Proven organization and analytical skills
Ability to work strategically, tactically and operationally
Ability to establish effective routines for excellent communication with all members of the team to maximize productivity
Ability to provide feedback in a constructive and professional way
Experience in administrating progressive discipline processes and performance management including handling conflict and resolving problems constructively
Bilingual in English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Mandarin-speaking peers
